A North East-based software company has expanded into new offices as part of an ambitious three-year growth plan.

Genisys Technology Solutions has moved from its previous offices at Bede House in the centre of Newcastle to the newly refurbished Enterprise House in the Team Valley Trading Estate, close to Newcastle Airport. This is great for the locality as it will offer greater financial contributions than just employee benefits.

Team Valley is home to over 700 businesses employing over 20,000 people from sectors ranging from the contractor business in manual and service trade to high end manufacturing and professional services and world leading research and development.

As an employer, this will open doors for recruitment agencies, temporary workers and career opportunities for those with years of experience or those who have been in work as independent contractors.

Genisys, which has over 300 clients including local authorities and NHS Trusts, has plans to expand its team at the new site to support its growth plans and enhance its service offering. It had spent 15 years at Bede House, being the permanent employment source for years.

Gary Sawyer, managing director at Genisys Technology Solutions, commented:

“After buying out from our owner company at the end of last year, we were looking for a new office space that would accommodate our ambitious growth plans over the next three years.”

“We needed a space that would allow us to have the latest technology, including hi-tech scanners and computers on site, as well as spare desk space for the addition of future team members.”

The software specialist is the first tenant to join the Enterprise House site, following the completion of a £1M refurbishment by commercial property firm UK Land Estates. The flow of business and recruitment in the area will grow at a good rate for obvious reasons due to the financial contributions by the private sector.

Gary, from his years of experience in the industry, continued: “Enterprise House is one of Team Valley’s newest office buildings and UK Land Estates has created a fantastic working environment with an abundance of local amenities and great trading links right on our doorstep.

“We are delighted to be the building’s first tenants and look forward to seeing the building develop into a thriving business hub.”

Tim Witty, development director at UK Land Estates, added:

“Genisys Technology Solutions is a brilliant addition to our new business development at Enterprise House on the Team Valley.

“The office space gives Gary and the team the ability to grow the business and provides a much-improved working environment from their previous offices.”
